"We're not trying to sound mainstream, but by saying that we aren't trying to sounds like hipsters either."  Based of out Winter Haven, Florida, We, The Paramount is a group of young men in this for the sake of the music.  Like with most artists,  the love they have for their craft is palpable and it's quite clear they were born to make music.

Greg, the vocalist talks about how he grew up on classic rock and to this day has the most diverse taste in music, jamming to everything from Tom Petty and Boston, to Katy Perry and Pink, to Toby Keith and his red solo cup.  He got started playing music around the age of 17 when a friend of his asked his mom if it was okay for Greg to join his band before he even got home from school.  By the looks of it, Greg is a classic punk band boy, covered in tattoos, pierced lip, and shirtless about 90% of the time, but when asked what inspires him the most his answer was short and sweet, "my sisters, I have a drive to make them proud above all else" (pause for the "awwwww").

We, The Paramount has a sound similar to that of Memphis May Fire, and Of Mice and Men, which almost every member stated as some of their musical influences and favorite bands to listen to.  They draw inspiration from the things that motivate them and make them happy in life; things like the people who show support and attend every show they can, throwing away the struggle and doing everything and anything possible to accomplish their goals (there was a shout out to Craig Owens here, if music is We, The Paramount's one true love, Craig Owens is mine), and just the music itself.  Ben, WTP's bass player, when asked what inspires him talked about his daughter Kylie (another "awwww" moment), his grandparents who were great musicians (in fact, he attributes his talent and passion for music to them), and his fellow band members:

"Just the fun of playing music, it's all I want to do all the time.  Its who I am in life.  It's a trip to be around the guys in my band, I can honestly say I've never had a bad time with them, I love every second of it.  To me, that is inspirtation, making music with talented people that enjoy it as much as I do, that's all I need."

When asked who they would most like to share the stage with, bands like Suffokate, Memphis May Fire, Oceana, and Motionless in White were mentioned, but the answer that stood out the most was Johnny Cash.  Greg said "raw, uncut emotion from the deepest parts of a destroyed man's heart, but still with so much compassion, no one did it like that man did."  That answer was perfectly poetic on its own and shows just how deep the passion for music lies in the guys of We, The Paramount.

We, The Paramount just recorded a new track called Outcome: Envy which you can preview on their Facebook page, after you 'Like' it obviously!  To offer your support and do that CLICK HERE.  You can also follow them on Twitter @WeTheParamount, to do that CLICK HERE.
